Board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Dr. Stein is a physiatrist and licensed acupuncturist who provides non-surgical treatments for sports, spine, and other musculoskeletal injuries. She uses an evidence-based approach to improve the quality of life of her patients whether they are elite athletes, "weekend warriors," or senior citizens with back pain. Dr. Stein treats the entire range of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, including repetitive-motion type injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome, acute or sub-acute musculoskeletal injuries such as ankle sprains and shoulder injuries/pain, neck and back pain, and osteoarthritis. She also has considerable experience treating anxiety, other psychological disorders, as well as gynecologic disorders.
A Cherry Hill native, Dr. Stein attended UMDNJ/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Cooper Hospital. She completed both her residency and her acupuncture training at Harvard Medical School. After completing her residency, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania before starting her own practice.
